I Was There is your memory — sets from a night you actually attended. Tag a set as "I Was There" and it counts toward your stats and shows up on your Timeline.

Add events already on Lost Sets, search real nights from MixesDB's archive going back decades, or just add one yourself if it's not out there. Rough or detailed, it's your call.

Our editorial side — news, guides, and stories from Lost Sets. Not tracklists, not reviews of sets themselves, just the odd bit of writing about the scene and how we build this place.

Every set on Lost Sets is embedded from YouTube, SoundCloud, or hearthis.at — we don't host or own the video/audio ourselves. We curate and check what's worth featuring; playback happens through the original platform.

This is a platform limitation, not a Lost Sets bug — the same thing happens watching YouTube directly in a mobile browser. Background playback for video generally needs a dedicated app (and often a paid tier on the platform itself), which isn't something we can change from our end. Audio-only sources (SoundCloud, hearthis.at) tend to handle backgrounding a bit better than YouTube video.

We add tracklists by hand, sourced from around the web, and we're always working through the list to make them as complete and accurate as possible. If a tracklist isn't ready yet, you'll see a note saying so rather than a guess. Longer term, we'd like to make this a crowdsourced feature so everyone can help fill in and correct tracklists together.

We only add sets we've personally checked play properly — no dead links, no AI-guessed tracklists. If it's not here yet, it might just not have crossed our path.
