Vini Vici

Vini Vici is Aviram Saadia and Matan Kadosh, from Israel. They've been recording and touring since the early 2010s and in a relatively short time became two of the biggest names in psytrance globally — playing Tomorrowland, Ultra Miami, Luminosity, Ozora and virtually every significant festival that books their genre. Their sound sits at the harder, more driving end of psytrance: big drops, melodic hooks, tempos around 140–148 BPM, production designed to work at festival scale. The Indian Spirit set, the Ozora sessions, and the Tomorrowland Friendship Mix are all on the site — a reasonable overview of what they do across different contexts. They're useful for understanding what modern psytrance sounds like when it's aimed at the biggest possible room — which, in psytrance, is a different brief from the underground circuit, and one they've taken seriously.
