Seb Fontaine
Seb Fontaine is a Liverpool DJ who came up through the Cream era — he held a residency there for years alongside Pete Tong, Paul Oakenfold and others, and the sets from that period (the Cream Finale 2015, the Manumission Ibiza 2002, the Creamfields 2017) are documents of how progressive house sounded when it was the dominant form on the UK club circuit. The Liverpool connection runs deep — he was resident at Prototype in the city and has played there and around the UK for over 30 years. The 1997 Gatecrasher and 2000 Creamfields three-way with Pete Tong and Oakenfold are also on this site. He’s not a famous name outside that circuit, but the circuit he was part of is exactly what this site is interested in. These sets are the record of it.
