Nina Kraviz
Nina Kraviz is from Irkutsk, Siberia. She trained as a dentist before moving to Moscow and then to Berlin, where she became part of the Panorama Bar world and built a global following for a distinctly personal approach: raw, visceral, playful, and often deliberately contrary to whatever was expected of her. She launched трип (Trip) records in 2015, a label whose releases consistently resist easy categorisation across house, techno and everything adjacent. The Boiler Room ADE 2012 set is one of the most-watched DJ sets ever uploaded to YouTube — not because it's the most technically accomplished, but because it's one of the most emotionally transparent. She dances, she laughs, she plays what she wants. The Cercle session at the Eiffel Tower in 2016 is the other reference: a completely different setting, the same energy. She's known for occasionally surprising programmers by playing much harder or much softer than the brief suggested. This is not a bug.
