Massano

Massano (Francesco Massano) is Italian, from Bergamo. He started producing in the early 2010s and reached a broader audience through releases on Afterlife and other melodic techno imprints, alongside his own output. “TEMPTATION” spread beyond the usual reach of a DJ release. He plays festivals, but the interesting context for his music is the club: the details in his production are built for listening at close range, not for throwing at the back wall of a main stage. The Ultra Music Festival Miami set on this site is the festival version; it’s worth knowing the studio work alongside it. He’s in his mid-twenties and among the most-played melodic techno artists of the current moment. What he does with the next decade is the open question.
