Jamie Jones
Jamie Jones is from Cardiff. He co-founded Hot Creations in 2010 alongside Lee Foss and Richy Ahmed, and through it developed the particular strain of melodic, slightly psychedelic deep house and tech-house that defined a large part of the Ibiza underground’s early 2010s. Paradise at DC10 — his residency — ran for years and was, during its peak, considered one of the best nights on the island. The Boiler Room Ibiza Villa Takeover set and the DJ Mag Lab Paris session are both on this site. They’re more intimate than the festival context where he also plays, which suits the sound better — Jamie Jones at his best is about texture and patience rather than peak-time impact.

Jamie Jones at Pliva Waterfalls was a Cercle production that leaned into the immersive, location-first ethos that defines the platform—a nearly two-hour set filmed at a turquoise waterfall in Bosnia-Herzegovina, where the Welsh Hot Creations boss brought his mid-00s warehouse sensibilities into dialogue with contemporary house music. The cinematic context elevated what was already a hypnotic deep house and tech-house arc from one of the scene's most consistent architects.
