CamelPhat is Dave Whelan and Mike Di Scala, from Liverpool. They've been making music together since the early 2000s, but it was "Cola" with Elderbrook in 2017 — a track that hit No. 1 on Beatport and earned a Grammy nomination — that moved them from the underground circuit to festival headliners. The transition didn't soften the sound. Since then: the Giza Pyramids (Zamna, 2025), Printworks London's closing weekend, a yacht in Ibiza, Kappa Futur, Boardmasters, and a BBC Essential Mix in September 2023. The thread through all of it is the same driving, thumping tech-house that made "Cola" work — functional, unpretentious, and reliably effective at scale. Five sets on this site. The DJ Mag HQ and Printworks sessions are good places to start before the bigger festival ones.
