Ben Klock

Ben Klock is from Berlin. He’s been a resident at Berghain since 2005 — one of the longest-running residencies at the club — and runs Klockworks, his own label and imprint. His sound is uncompromisingly functional: long, dark, minimal techno designed for a specific room at a specific hour. The music doesn’t scale to main stages the way it works in Berghain at 6am. The Boiler Room x Glitch Festival 2024 set on this site is a reasonable compromise — Boiler Room’s format suits him better than a mainstage does. For the real thing, you’d need to have been in the building.
