ARTBAT

ARTBAT is Artem Zhdanov and Batishchev, two Ukrainians from Kyiv who built their reputation in the melodic techno and progressive house world through a combination of dramatic filmed sessions and festival headline appearances. They launched their Upperground imprint in 2018 and have since become consistently one of the most-streamed acts in their corner of the scene. Their sound tends toward the epic and cinematic — lush, expansive builds designed for sunset main stages and striking visual locations. The Bondinho Pão de Açúcar set in Rio de Janeiro, filmed at the famous cable-car station above the city at dusk, is probably the single best document of what they do. The Creamfields 2024 set is the larger-crowd counterpart. Both are on the site. Start with Rio.

ARTBAT at Bondinho Pão de Açúcar in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil for Cercle

Cercle's cable-car ride up Rio's Sugarloaf Mountain, with ARTBAT's atmospheric, built-for-sunset techno soundtracking one of the series' most scenic locations.

ARTBAT

ARTBAT - Live at Creamfields 2024

ARTBAT's own channel captures their Creamfields mainstage moment — bigger and more festival-scaled than their Cercle appearances, built for a UK crowd at full volume.

ARTBAT at Cercle Odyssey 2025 — their signature cinematic melodic techno in one of the series' more ambitious productions.
