Aly & Fila

Aly & Fila (Fadi Wassef Naguib and Hesham Hamid Gamal) are from Cairo. They've been releasing music together since 2001, when Egypt's trance scene was small but serious, and they built the Future Sound of Egypt radio show and label from the ground up. FSOE is now one of the most prolific trance imprints running. They're associated with the uplifting and euphoric end of trance — melodic drops, orchestral builds, records designed to hit in the third hour of a set. The Great Pyramids show (#FSOE400, filmed in 4K) is one of the more dramatic backdrops any DJ has played in front of; the Luminosity 2023 three-hour session shows what they do at full length with a devoted crowd.
